That is unreal. But it is a major sports franchise in the second biggest market in the country, so even if he out bid #2 by 1/2 a billion, he will make that money back over time. In 30yrs it went from $12.5 million to $2 billion. In another 30, it could be a couple hundred billion or a trillion.
this makes crypto currency seem feasible. for real.
