Buck Zumhofe gets 25 years for molesting daughter:



Former AWA wrestler Eugene "Buck" Zumhofe was sentenced to 310 months in prison this week on first-degree and third-degree counts of criminal sexual conduct for molesting his daughter for years, beginning when she was 15 years old.

Zumhofe's lawyer requested a stay in prison time and probation so he could receive treatment and counseling but that was denied by the judge. Zumhofe must spend a minimum of 17 years in prison before he's eligible for release. Zumhofe was also ordered to serve 10 years of post-release probation and register as a sex offender. Assistant County Attorney Aaron Welch asked the judge to double Zumhofe's sentence to over 51 years due to his previous criminal sexual conduct and the fact that his crime was against a family member. The judge denied that also.

Marlborough, MA, May 16, 2014 -- Lemelson Capital, LLC, a private investment management firm, today announced that they had taken a stake in shares of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and called on the Board of Directors to replace the executive management team of the company following a period of consistent losses, execution issues and material misstatements.

Despite the stock's roughly 63% correction since Lemelson Capital's original short call less than two months ago (from $30.37 on March 17 to $11.33 as of publication of this release), the firm today also reiterated that fair value of WWE's common stock is between $8.25 and $11.88.

"For example, promoting the WWE direct network's value to shareholders without a fair and accurate discussion of the implications to a traditional network revenue circumvented management's fiduciary responsibility as stewards of investor's capital, and is part of what has emerged as a pattern over recent years. Further, there are no pending operational developments in the pipeline to offset these significant losses," Lemelson added.

There is nothing wrong with WWE corporate. They always turn a profit and the always pay a dividend. The last 2 quarters they didnt turn a profit because of the WWE Network roll out that is incomplete. They have 667k subscribers in the US alone. They havent been able to offer it out to foreign markets yet because of the tv deals in place.

Anyone who thought WWE was going to stay near $30/share doesnt have enough brains to be investing in the stock market.

The most recent stock tank was because of the domestic TV deal and that even if they meet the million-Network-subscribers goal this year expected loss is $50M.

It's still hard to feel sorry for a guy who has $1.2B instead of $1.6B.

No fan of Vince but he absolutely owns the industry. Remember The Wrestler with Roarke? It was based around the northeastern indy scene. But when it came time to promo it VKM and crew swooped in and took over the project as if it were No Holds Barred.

Ring of Honor is replacing TNA at the Brooklyn Cyclones' annual wrestling night at their stadium. It is August 15, after the no compete will be up, and the largest non WWE wrestling event in NYC, so I wonder if they will spring for Punk to appear and get some real buzz out of it.

They really dropped the ball on Clay. They needed him to be a monster type, and run him in a program w/ Cena.

The territory system was so good to the Hogan Era, because you could bring in the monster types (Kamala, Bundy, One Man Gang) as established threats to go after him for a nice couple month run. Now there are generally 2 ways a noob goes, hot shotted to the top or jobbed out too quick.
