He has been clean for over a month, and sometimes when you get a look at reality sober things don't look so good. He has always maintained that he has too much journalist integrity to ever mention the monkey on lukeford and has cursed other sites out for doing it in the past, at least thats the front he puts up. He does however make not so subtle hints about the monkey that the people of the board have picked up. Deep down i feel for him, i mean he needs drugs to have any kind of happiness in his life but in the long run it will kill him, or he can live a longer more miserable life sober. Things kinda went down hill after our relationship dissolved and i think the damage that it caused destroyed any chance of us even being friends let alone a couple again. I wish him the best regardless and i will always love him, you can't just switch that off. I just hope he finds whatever it is he is looking for.

I just read the article that fayner wrote and to tell you the truth, its good. I mean its either he has nothing to write about or he is being 100% honest, and i tend to lean towards the latter, he did try and soften the blow with the little note at the bottom, but he is basically saying what everyone else feels but is afraid to say. Good for him, not sure what this means, either he changes or he gets over what he was ranting about and goes back to the status quo. Quote:

No one in Hollywood does anything out of kindness. There's a purpose behind every action. I seriously have to offer free press to young porn chicks to just suck my dick. They should do it 'cause they want to suck my dick. Right?
Porn people are the worst of the bunch. Alliances are crumbled at will in Naked Hollywood. One day you're hip scribbler Scott Fayner, loved and celebrated, and the next you're Kid Vegas, ostracized for simply being as much of a sleaze as everyone else but getting caught in the act. I mean, would any city that has a smidgen of humanity allow a rat like Marc Wallice to continue scurrying around yet alienate Kid Vegas for making sub-par porn and not sharing a deadly disease with a bunch of gals?
I'd like to think other places don't act this way. The tribulations of "making it" in Hollywood strips any tenderness one possesses in the first month, when the hottest girl in Burnt Corn, Alabama moves to LA with dreams of being a movie star and realizes it's impossible and must now decide to either wait tables or fuck on film to pay the bills. That would make me one cold-hearted bitch, believe you me.
Stop being fake. Don't tell me you began doing porn 'cause you just love sex so much and it's the only way to get it all the time. That's BS. I don't buy it, I won't buy it and I can't buy it. You can't put up a house with dog shit as a foundation, and being a charlatan won't get you any closer to your dreams.
Be daring. Be spontaneous. Be wild. Your soul can be repaired, trust me. It just takes a touch of backbone, mixed with an undying devoutness to the liberation of not giving a shit what anyone thinks. Speak your mind. Dress how you like. Don't be low-key with anything. Got a blazing coke habit? Celebrate it! Don't be ashamed. Don't burden yourself with what Bill Margold thinks about you. When we aim to please we lose our heart. Life is too short to be playing games.

So what is it exactly?, are you angry at yourself for NOT doing what you think you can as a writer or has some in lala land poo pooed any of the stuff you have written not revolving around porn?. Judging by some of the stuff you write and your new name here im guessing confidence isn't the biggest issue here and even if it is you have more then enough denial to make up for it.
Why not try and do both, who cares what others say, its not a like a porn star trying to cross over into mainstream or anything your just a porn gossip writer slash director , you aren't held back and viewed like female performers in this industry are, and whats the worst that can happen?, it doesn't lead anywhere and you are where your at now, writing stuff for lukeford and going to porn events. Then again its hard to comment on without knowing exactly what you are wanting to write about , whether it be as a simpson's writer or something else.
As for blaming LA for holding you back and destroying dreams is stupid. You are smart enough to know about LA before moving there. In fact its not just LA, but the majority of the world, the people best at their field of choice aren't always the ones who have the best jobs, thats life. Im just lucky i made my fortune in sun dried tomatoes so im no longer in the dog fight anymore.

whatever fayner does, it'll make me less angry than having to hear about carly milne's 15 minutes when her book comes out. apparently someone gave her a deal, just like dr.phil.
i'm pro-kyoto-fisting on this one, it's going to be a "novelty" bonanza as she capitalizes on being goodall/joy adamson in the porn wild. the chick beats the pithy thing to death, then lets ttboy at it. it'll be the "smile-to-yourself" read of the year, while at the crux of it just being self-congratulatory masturbation about how cute and capable a chick she is. but she's got the hook i guess, doesn't matter if she's the hostess cupcake/sharper image product of writers. the subject is delicious and shiny, but it's fucking tripe. but i also like middlemarch, so i've got issues with writing other than questionable sentence structure and grasp of dose bigger letters that start sentences.

i couldn't be more with you on the mainstreaming fiasco. so far, all i see is jesse jane on a bunch of hip magazines trying to tell me how to be a man, something on showtime with someone totally irrelevant to the current industry who's juggling the traits of being shudderingly reptilian to look at and owning clothing not seen since they heydey of "color me badd". in fact, the only good mainstream porn stuff is the 5+year old but totally salacious E! documentary on savannah's fall from stupid and entertainingly fucked-up to stupid and entertainingly fucked up and trepanation success-story.
man, there's nothing worse than PR people. they're too dumb to be journalists, too soft for travelling ponzi schemes, and what they've contributed to mankind so far is getting vin deisel a career and fucking flash animations on websites being everywhere.

There's nothing worse than going to a website and having to figure your way through a flash animation just to get to the goddamned content. I don't really mind Carly Milne, since I haven't seen her website in more than a year, but I suppose speaks volumes. the sad thing is, her site actually was incredibly promising when she started it. it's just PR turns everyone associated with it into zombies with only 2 capabilities. the bloodsucking is obvious, but they just get so fucking hardwired to "promote.....must promote...." that it leeches into everything they do. pretty soon you're living your life based on how good a pitch it'll make for your book deal.
not that i'll actually invent something or commit to any larger purpose than strapping explosives to swami and sending him into macromedia's headquarters to destroy all annoying shit that moves disconcertingly across my screen. acrobat also cannot continue to go unpunished, adobe just charges obscene amounts to basically view.....text and pictures. i'm actually for horrible, public torture for such offenses--future offenders need something tangible for their noses to be rubbed in. so all 28-year old slashdot.com readers with chunky eyeglasses to disguise low sat's never ruin the web with "enhanced" content again.
