I'm doing preliminary research about Dominican Republic and from what I've gathered, theres lots of scams, fraud, swindles and dishonesty towards the foreigners. But yeah, under 4 hours from NYC by plane and overall lower cost of living plus cheap whores and pleasant weather, makes it attractive to me. I think that's where the guy behind Rico's World did all the photography at. A Panzerbunker on a sunny island, with outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and a fountain for cheap is something that I am interested in.
