I have something similar. I don't know if it would run my laptop, but I get many charges of my phone out of it.

This one is a power adapter only, no battery. It's intended to charge the laptop and phone with power from electrical mains only. I tend to think that NewerTech missed an opportunity to make this device a charger and USB hub. Probably would've added three bucks in cost, but would have made it so much more useful. Baby steps. I'm sure that kind of thing will be coming soon enough.

A real killer device for the business traveller would be a combination battery pack/power adapter/USB hub with built-in WiFi router.

I just recently received a nice little charging power block from my bank as a gift (as well as some teriyaki flavored reindeer sausage). The power block is about half the size of a cigar, but squared off on the egdes and it'll fit in my pocket. When it's fully charged, it'll bring my iPhone 7Plus from 60% charge up to 100% charge. I try to keep it fully charged and then when I'm watching TV I'll hook it up to my iPhone to charge it so I can still keep my phone right next to me and not have to have it hooked up to a wall outlet charger.

I got two of those charge things recently as a promo. Mine are shaped like the little green Andoid man .

I've got this thing. My mom bought it for $60 to power her ipad, but turned out the charger cord on her ipad was the problem, not the battery. Lithium ion, it gives a 2amp quick charge & a 1amp slow charge. About every 2-3 weeks, I plug it in the wall over night to get a good charge on it.

Buy Audio Technica ATMh50 headphones. There are a couple of Shure models that are good too. Avoid all Beats and consumer a/v brands.

Bought me another vintage style leather jacket- lambskin jacket at amazon and a couple more rock tees. Dio and Humble Pie. Also, an external cell battery and a back up phone. My note 4 bit the dust. And it was a replacement for my first one. Can't wait for my contract to get paid out. May go the I route next time.
Sold my Caddy so I got a few extra bucks. I'm having shelves built in my living room for my album and cd collection and tv and dvd player and roku etc. Should give me a ton of room. Also getting ready to replace the roof on my house. It is wind damaged from being on a hill at the mouth of a valley. It gets rough up here sometimes. My insurance should pay for most of it. Hopefully. On a side note after I sold my car I got a notice from the TN dept of revenue saying I owed 800 something in taxes for last year and had a penalty. Thanks but that would cost as much as what I'm having done due to the draconian collection I have. My usual contractor is doing it for me. He's a true artisan. He's connected with the Mennonites up in Va. that build barns and have a farmers market type store. Great folks. He'll be installing the new roof as well.

The first store didn't have any in stock but said a nearby store did. Thank god I asked if I could just pay there. Took receipt to second store, dude says "we don't have that TV". Walked out with a $750 MSRP 48" TV for $230 after taxes.

Small indie store in the rough part of centretown vs. giant stores near or in the downtown mall. These guys were more about art shows and skate demos, hanging out etc. They also had a smoking hot shop girl there who I wound up banging twice. She's too stuck up to acknowledge me now haha.

I hear ya. All of our indie stores, of every stripe, have virtually been wiped out by useless, giant crap stores and the entire island of Manhattan is no one ginormous mall.

Mom and pop biddnesses don't have stock prices to manipulate.

Black crime destroyed first the city center high street retailer, then the suburban shopping mall. They haven't yet figured out how to fuck up Amazon.com. But I have faith in their endless inventiveness. Perhaps as the malls die off blacks will have to drive around to steal boxes off people's porches, or perhaps they'll start to "hunt" and shoot down drones to steal deliveries.
