There is a "Freedom of Expression" culture here that says any idiot should be able to speak their mind. The problem, as you point out, is that some do just that.

There will always be other forums that can guarantee more sweetness & light, and that talent will rarely hear unpleasant things. The price, of course, is that the talent has stay within the sweetness & light limits and can't say whatever they think, just like all of the other droids there.

The fact that an idiot is allowed to post an insult doesn't mean that they must remain unchallenged. My philosophy is expressed in the last paragraph of this post:
