Finally watching Breaking Bad. Two seasons in, and it's good... but not really living up to the hype. Bryan Cranston's performance is riveting, but the character himself is fairly despicable. Most of the dramatic tension seems to derive from wincing at whatever improbable shithole White & Pinkman stumble into, and overall, each episode feels like watching a security cam feed of someone peeing in the office coffee pot... but for now I'm reserving judgement till I've finished the entire series.
