I have a Sally Field thing too. Go back and watch some original Gidget TV series episodes and tell me that director didn't have a Tarantino style foot fetish. There are so many pervy little foot shots in that series it distracts me at times. I bought my nieces the box set now that they surf, and watched a bunch of episodes with them. It's really odd.
BTW: there's an episode with Bonnie Franklin and Barbara Hershey having a sleep over at Gidget's.
