Those middlemen, the brokers and fixers, are beholden to the rich guys buying slut-time. They probably own or front legitimate businesses (travel agencies, transport, real estate brokerages) that are used to conduit money from the rich johns to the girls. All legit. The middlemen know better than to rip off good customers - they not only might be out of business but sooner or later might serve as crab pickings and wash up on a lonely beach somewhere.

In a non-related story, Nacho Vidal was taken down (don't know if the charges were able to stick) for laundering dirty money for the Chinese mafia in Spain. Middlemen bleach that money and make it good for all parties involved.
