Once she's married she's no longer Daddy's girl, but her husbands. So, Dad did his job. All this is based on people actually following their own teachings. I just don't see harm in abstinence, or encouragement of same. I'm not going to engage EY on his psycho-babble. It's just another form of religion. Kosher food and it's preparation, abstinence until marriage by both sexes, the ten commandments...these things are just promoting the general welfare.
