They probably would think that if they camouflage the plane with new livery and a call sign and bamboozle their way over some unsuspecting country (who wants to be responsible for shooting down an errant Aer Lingus?) they might get away with it. Pilots better have those flight plans well documented and filed for the next 6 months or there are going to be flames in the sky.
