It's really less about the plane than it is about the weirdness involved. Stolen passports, 10 mile long oil slicks, Mr. Ali, satellite photos, fireballs, transponders, replaced wing tips, calligraphy conventions, engines pinging Rolls Royce for 5 hours...then that never happened...but it's still reported as fact, cell phones still ringing...fuck, it doesn't end. Waiting for Shaggy, Scoobie and the Mystery Machine to show up.
