I can't see a women's studies degree ever being worth this kind of money, and it's a negative credential for pre-law. I hire lawyers, and I will never, ever hire a women's studies major because it's a screaming red flag that the holder of the degree is a bitch on wheels. It's the degree for grim, humorless man-hating lesbians. On the other hand, a young woman with something like stripping, porn, or prostitution in her background I'd be inclined to give her a chance based on empathy for will to overcome mistakes.
