OK, so I've been dabbling in AdultFYI now & then to check on industry happenings, and after seeing Rob Black's byline on most of the recent articles, I got curious.

Low & behold, he notes in one article that Gene Ross retired, and now he's at the helm of the smut gossip site.

When the fuck did this happen? Goddamn.

It was a little while after Gene lost all his advertising and his host because he was pimping Rob's nonsense. That is how some people leave the industry, burn all bridges so no matter how desperate you get, you can't return.

Gene was getting pretty bad at the end, w/ the lame tarot gimmick and reposting stories.

Yeah, ask Rick Shameless, Rob Longsnot, Max, or Martin del Taco.

Actually, Rick Shameless did return. Upon return he shot for AVN for a year then for a year or 2 for Brazzers.
