As long as this has become the Android thread, the other thing that Samsung has done right, that nobody else has matched, is the calendar app. They have a Samsung version of the google calendar app that is different than the native android version and is just about perfect. It integrates events, scheduling, task lists, notes, attachments, contacts, locations, etc. better than any other app on the market. And unlike all the third party calendar apps on the market it actually looks professional and tasteful. All of the best selling apps for BOTH the android and iPhone market look like they were designed by Liberace's more flamboyantly gay cousin.

I have been using PDAs since the days of the Palm Pilot and I recently bought a Nexus 7, that I got specifically to use as an electronic personal organizer, and the day I found out that the calendar app that I had been using for years on my Samsung phones was not the default Google/Android app quite possibly may have been one of the worst days since 9/11. I still consider ditching the Nexus 7 and buying a Samsung Note 8 from time to time solely for the calendar app.
