you know what really set me off early today. after hank pulled the ground and pound on jesse walt went to visit jesse in the hospital. more than once! this is a local hospital in a dea town?. wtf
True, when you analyze the show, there are issues I have from a technical perspective, not just logistical issues. Some logistical issues: Vince acknowledged one thing they did not want to really discuss too heavily: How did Walt poison Brock to get Jesse back on his side? They jokingly talked about a "magical juice box". Deus Ex Machina worked brilliantly for getting them out of the Bounder when Hank was sweating out a warrant, but not so much for poisoning the kid. When Jesse tracks down Gail's address, Mike and his henchmen are looking for Jesse at full tilt and he can get close enough to the lab to follow Gail home to find his address? Distraught Jesse happens to answer Walt's phone call when Mike has a gun to Walt's head when he has a history of ignoring Walt's calls for days on end.
Regarding Jessie in the hospital: I am sure being beaten by one of their own, the DEA would have someone keeping an eye on the kid even if from down the hall and the local DEA isn't so big that they wouldn't recognize Walt -- especially since Hank put out a fucking tip jar with Walt's picture on it in DEA office to help pay for Walt's cancer treatments.
My technical issues are: the magnet to destroy the video evidence on the laptop and the mercury fulminate in Tuco's office. The Mythbusters busted the hydrofluoric acid issue with the bathtub in Season 1 and the mercury fulminate in the same season. I can buy the methylene train hijacking though it requires
Mission Impossible type of timing.
Even if Walt used TNT or RDX instead of mercury fulminate in the quantity shown on the screen, I don't think the shockwave would have done all that damage.
Those magnets weigh a fuck load and unless they really beefed up the van's suspension, it would have sunk on its tires. The amount of electricity required to power the magnet I don't think you could get from the number of batteries they showed. You would probably need a diesel driven power generator pulled behind the van to make the magnet work.
fucken powerful kingfish btw. dude knows his BB.
Thanks for the props Lou.
