Okay, I don't want to wish anyone to have their kids taken from them. Let me just say that in advance. However, my mom worked for years in child protection services and as a general rule, they will BEND OVER BACKWARDS to keep kids with their parents. So, essentially, you have to truly and royally fuck up to get your kids taken from you. The fact that they gave the kids to a 'roided up cage fighter instead of their mother makes me think that there is clear and incontrovertible evidence that she was on drugs and is acting very crazy. If you've had a brush with drugs and child services, by law, in my state (and I'm pretty sure in her state too but not positive) that all you have to do is show that you are "Attempting to rehabilitate and reform your drug use" to have some access to your kids. If they were absolutely taken from JJ, that would be a pretty clear case of her putting child protective services in a position where they had no alternative but to take the kids away and suspend visitation and parental rights.

Can we really say that this is surprising to us? Again, I don't want to gloat or anything but I called this in 2004 when she made her infamous (and completely pretentious) statement, "I will never spread my legs for porn again". In a room of porn stars, that was a fairly elitist thing to say. But were we surprised? I mean, we all knew she was living high on the hog with the $12 million she got from selling her company and it was obvious from the word "Go" she had more liabilities than financial assets. It didn't take Dick Fucking Tracy to see that that money was going to dry up as soon as her body and looks did too. Very few people ever move over into the business side of the industry. Holly Randall, Gia Jordan sound like exceptions rather than the rule. More girls end up with very little money and end up coming back for fame and/or money. (see exhibit A and B: Devon and Houston).

Did we really expect Jenna was any different? Wasn't it obvious that the only thing she really loved was being Jenna Jameson? She didn't want a family, didn't want a business. She just wanted to be famous. It's the difference between the quiet professionals and the people who just want to be famous. You see it in movies. You can tell that some mainstream actors like say, Ed Norton or Daniel Day Lewis, just want to perform their craft. Others like Miley Cyrus want to be famous. It's pretty obvious Jenna was the latter. There are actresses like Gia Jordan or maybe, a girl on a smaller scale I know, Vera Vaughan, who want to make money and walk the fuck away. And they actually can.

Jenna Jameson was to porn what Floyd Mayweather will be to boxing. You watch--in ten years, after Floyd has finally been knocked out and retired two or three times, he's going to be financially insolvent. Tyson, Joe Louis, Holyfield, Riddick Bowe and 1000 other fighters all were on top of the world and now don't have a pot to piss in. Mayweather wants to be famous--not great. We'll have a E! True Hollywood special on how he blew $400K on some Tiger Scent Cologne that worked 90% of the time, 30% of the time.

I need to stress that I don't want to say I find happiness in Jenna Jameson's woes. But, there is a small level of schadenfreude in seeing someone who was happy to be a snippy bitch and a complete diva all the time being reduced to being a cam girl.

There is a level of satisfaction that the girl who was too good to ever spread her legs on film again, is now struggling to find people willing to pay her to watch her actually do it. As the ex-slave said to his master in 1865--"Bottom rail on top now, mastah".
