No, I haven't made the big switch yet. I'll probably wait to the end of the month since I'm paid up on both accounts for another month. I am struggling to decide which phone to consolidate everything into. I liked the S4 mini, but wish it was a bit smaller (it is still bigger than the iPhone 5 which is, in turn, bigger than my iPhone 4S--which is what I was hoping to match in size). Also wish it had a better screen and was a bit thicker and had better build quality. But it may be the lesser among several evils.

The whole thing about the sticky cases is that I love the Android OS on my S3 (my other phone), but the case is too damn slick and too damn thin and that makes it annoyingly difficult to use unless I have both hands free. So, it has been relegated to sitting on my desk in its charger and I'm wasting money if I'm not going to use it. I can't even walk the dog and take it along to listen to music or talk because if I have one hand tied up with a leash, the S3 becomes too much trouble with its razor thin, teflon slick edges. God forbid I try to text one handed with that thing, it'll shoot out of my hand and take somebody's eye out.

So, if I can find a decent case that makes the S3 useable in the real world, I'll change to the S4. If not, I may consider the S4 mini, or just suck it up and get rid of the S3 and go solely with the iPhone 4S (I have NO interest in the iPhone 5) and abandon my beloved Android OS.

If you want the phone to be thicker, go with a silicone over hard shell case. Front and back plastic pieces snap over the phone, then the silcone wraps around it. Mine even has plug tabs to seal off the inputs for charging and ear piece.

I like that it doesn't have a film over the screen, like an OtterBox. As soon as I get a phone, I have them put a screen protector on it. I jam it in my pocket w/ change, lighters, and metal pens. Thing would be scratched to shit in days. Plus, an OtterBox is like $70? Fuck that. I didn't pay that much for my phone.

I have a thin snap on hard case that I paid a couple bucks for, because the big blue case does look goofy if you are going out someplace nice. The phone is so thin with just that on it, that I have a hard time holding it and keeping it steady when I take a pic.

We bought a "boarding house" a couple weeks ago. 4 furnished rooms for 140.00/week, fully occupied right now. You don't have to be a genius to figure out the cash-flow on a property like that. Previous owners were just looking to move out of town.

Just got back from Cozumel, MX. Met some great folks down there and did some great diving. Really beautiful place underwater.

I hate the touristas they march on and off the cruise ships don't get to see it.

Anyway, I just bought a dive computer and hope it simplifies our diving. The gopro I mentioned a little while back worked like a champ and we got some awesome video. I might start a new "Warning!" thread for that. My laptop is kinda buggy and slow though. BSOD several time per day.

I had to download an update for my display driver the other day, because this thing was going black and locking up on me. After a minute or 2 it would either go back to normal or give me the BSOD. I'm like 2.5 days since the last one now.

I kinda have the same thing: black flash for around 2-3 seconds and then usually BSOD follows; sometimes pretty much right away and sometimes 2-10 minutes later. Whenever screen flashes to black and then goes normal, its means that BSOD is around the corner and that I gotta save the files and get ready for BSOD. I took a screenshot of BSOD and googled "atikmpag.sys" and it suggested that I get the new driver. Downloaded the file, it ran some installations and driver, but then it said that its not compatible with my system. So far so good and no BSOD.
