I spilled coffee on my laptop this morning. Seems to have killed 1/2 the keyboard. The screen has been busted since July. I found some one selling the same model on Ebay for 280 or best offer. Mouse button needs to be replaced, dvd player is beat and they are going to take out the hard drive before shipping. I offered 100, they countered w/ 170 and they excepted my next offer of 150. Screen is 200+, and the keyboard is 20-25 if I just bought the parts, so I'm happy with my Panzering. It has a power supply too, so I can leave one in the house and one in my shop. I hope the battery in it is good, but don't matter if it is beat.
Anyway, 150 bucks and the laptop will last me another 3-4 years hopefully.
Maybe you could have put it in a sack of rice?!
I had a camera last year that pretty much slipped from my hands in the 1st day fell into stockpot filled with water in the sink. I quickly took it out, even though the camera was 100% submerged in the water. About 3-4 weeks later I was about to send it to Canon for repairs, and the camera came alive just before I was about to pack it! I then sold it off on eBay to someone: I described the camera as barely new [just used it 1 time].
