I know...I've never had the shot before and never had the flu. This winter I know I'm going to be traveling a lot and exposed to more people than ever, so I figured the shot may be worth a try. But dammit I am flat out sick right now. I was healthy when I got up yesterday morning, and healthy for five years or better prior to that, and within 12 hrs of the injection I was sick.
Never again. If I get the flu going forward it will be because some filthy dreg sneezed on me- not because I paid a druggist to inject me with it.
