The ending ranked up with the Shield and Six Feet Under.

I liked the Junior character. They didn't go full retard with him. He was a kid and all the sturm and drang that comes with teenage kids. My best friend in high school had fucked up legs. My mom was always asking me what was wrong with him. I honestly never knew...and don't know to this day...altho I have to admit watching him move around these days (after not seeing him for 25 years) really makes my heart hurt. His legs never came up in our conversations. If he hit the pavement I didn't help him up...learned my lesson the first time. He was just a dude...drunk, stoned, surly, pussy crazed, swearing like a sailor, no hesitation to pull a gun on someone. Junior was more real a portrayal of a crippled kid than I've ever seen. I go to Jeri from Facts of Life and the heavy handedness of the writers constantly reminding us she was "normal". Junior didn't need to remind us...just his being made him normal. Again, the beauty of the show. The first couple of eps this half season Jesse barely spoke, but he was a massive presence just by being.

Great show, great cast, great writing, great filming. Perfect storm.
