Fantasy football season is about down the shitter. I am 3-5. Dude leading my division was fucked w/ injured Vick and Geno Smith on his roster. I decided to try and shake it up and traded Cam Newton for Demaryius Thomas. I'll be crossing my fingers on Andy Dalton at QB. I'll have the top RB in Charles, the top TE (and non QB) in Graham, and now the # 2 WR in Thomas & #9 WR in V-Jax. If Roddy White can get on the field and play as a top WR, I may be able to reach the playoffs.

I picked up the Dallas D also. Thought I would be set with the Texans D, but not only have they sucked, the QBs there have been thrown pick 6s like they are going out of style, costing me points.

Anyway, fingers crossed with Andy Dalton is the most important thing to take away from this. 2 years ago I won the championship with Tebow after I dumped Vick.

I don't think anyone will be dumb enough to take a running back in the top half of the round, it just aint worth it. Not with QBs, WRs and Graham putting up 40+ pts a game all the time. And to be honest, if they go top 6 and I'm in the bottom of the round, I'm gonna go w/ Gronk or a WR, cause there will be decent RBs around after the wrap.

Jamal Charles was very consistent for me this season, but has tailed off lately as they cut back his touches to keep him fresh for the playoffs. He is the #2 RB in my league right now and he aint in the top 10 non QBs. Matt Forte is #10.

I was wrong about my elimination from playoff hopes. If I win this week and one of 2 guys a head of me lose, then I get in the playoffs. They both are favored in their match ups, but one guy has gimpy foot Peyton playing in Arrowhead.

I am in a spot I hate though, I have quality backups.

Shane Vereen, Rashad Jennings, Riley Cooper, Vincent Jackson. One of them has to sit. V-Jax and Cooper both have bad match ups, but also have the potential to break a 25pt TD play. Jennings has a great match up against the Cowboys worst ranked Rush Defense, he might split carries with McFadden though. Vereen seems guaranteed to get 15 points, based on PPR, and if he scores, he gonna have 20.

Then, in the back of my head I keep thinking "this is the week Roddy White breaks out for 40pts." but I'd rather lose with him on the bench than in the line up.

I'd think about Vereen. I have him in a deeper 2-flex league, and he's catching a lot of passes. Plus the NE RBs haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire.

I picked up Michael Floyd from the Cardinals. Teams are still double-teaming Fitz, and Floyd has had a few good 100+ yard games lately. And the Filly secondary is not that spectacular.

Our league has a trade deadline of week 10 and week 11 on you are only allowed to do roster moves if you get an injury of Out or Doubtful.

One of the noobs tried to pick up Floyd last week and had the move reversed. Another one tried to drop a guy off his active roster, move a guy from IR to active, then pick up a free agent.

Palmer seems to have finally clicked with that offense in AZ. If they could have a running back step up, they could do some damage in the playoffs.

I'm highly likely to win my match up this week, but neither guy I need to lose is going to lose. Fuckers. I'll finish about .500, and have the #4 or 5 rated team in the league, but miss the playoffs. Brady's 2nd 1/2 vs the Steelers really sunk me.
