The rational side of me knows that the production side of the industry is a dead-end -- but I am still interested in starting a venture.

I used to run porn websites with syndicated content back in the late 90s when it was still very profitable to do so. This side of the industry has little value for me. I would rather code a website and also get to meet girls as part of my job.

Thankfully, I live in areas with a lot of female talent... and I have been solo-brainstorming a method of creating lots of content: namely royalties & profit-sharing with models and producers. I would be surprised if I am the first person to think of setting up a studio with the cache of paying residuals to models.

Not interested in taking advantage of this system to avoid paying the talent up-front, rather I see it as a good way to attract the women and men to the studio and to keep them invested in the success of the venture on a professional level.
