You're correct, of course, but there were dozens of red flags around PFC Pipsqueak as well. This is an unstable person who should never have been inducted in the first place.
On another note: I don't get why he/she is adamant about changing his/her first name, as opposed to his/her last name, since, by his/her own admission, he/she doesn't want to do any manning any more.
