To answer your other question:

I lost interest in dancing except for feature dancing. That was great since the focus was on the performance and interaction with fans that showed up specifically to see YOU vs having to sell dances to complete strangers. I was always excellent at the salesmanship of being a house dancer (opposite of feature dancer. Basically, the regular resident dancer with a scheduled shift,) but I had no idea that it was that draining until I was away from it a while. It's truly a sales job. A commission based sales job.
