Man i had to ask you guys this question that is bothering me. Let's get away from porn for a min, can anyone tell me why the bush administration keep trying to sell to the american people that kerry flipflops on iraq. Somebody help me understand why no one in the kerry campaign is not saying bush flipflopped on iraq, do you guys remember when he first took office and he an condeleeza rice and powell stated on national television that we have saddam contained and boxed in and he is no threat. Then when 911 hit he used it as a platform to us all, myself included that iraq may have had something to do with 911 and he had; not may have, but has weapons of mass destruction. They played us good by showing us so called mobile labs and illuminum tubes, broken down drone airplanes etc, and we all believed this shit and as it turned out this mutha fucka flipflopped and has gotten over 1,000 soldiers killed and counting. Then came out and said we did not find any weapons, but we were still justified to go to war when this was his sole reason for going because the resolution stated if he did not disarm he is in violation and could face a war. Now they try to trick kerry in to saying that if saddam was still in power the world would be safer, so i will say it for him yes the world would be safer if we didn't have this war because we have united all terrorist against us. The shit saddam was doing to his own people our friends the saudis and everyone else in this region does the same exact shit so they can't use that excuse because i am in the region and has been 3 times so people don't let all the political talk cloud your minds when you go vote. Smelly monkey don't ever say you went to iraq when you are not even a soldier, being a soldier is serious business that's why we can't have a commander in chief that will send us to war over his own personal issues.

speaking of wmd, if i see one more post on adt about them i'm going to flip. if anyone there did any real homework on stuff like Abdul Qadeer khan's testimonies, the fact that they had an a-bomb program going under the UN's watch in the past, shitloads of unnacounted weapons and chemicals, and satellite documentation that every time the UN weapons inspectors came, trucks piled out of the place into "presidential" safezones right before. not to mention the mustard gas shell found convieniently on the route to the syrian border, where the ones that aren't buried are right now. those people are fucking ignorant, or at the very least gaysatyr needs the idiot's guide to the last decade and the psi. and i'm not planning on voting for bush.

Right on Jamesn, I can't even look at the political threads over there because they force me to reply and then all but 3 people ( i Suspect most who are not even from this country) jump down my neck for being a conservative. Oh well it is probably better to ignore political threads over there anyway- they seem like a haven for people who just like to argue. Which I can never understand- people do not change their religion or political views as a result of someone elses arguement. I usually just like to state my position and then let it drop but sometimes I am even drawn into these pointless arguements. i'm not even particuarly conservative, it's just that so much of what gets posted there is just wrong.the only conservative poster there is kinda a kook anyhow, and i don't feel like arguing with people whose channels for global news consist of gaysatry and newsweek.

the usual rueters/bbc bullshit on the net. for hardcopy, i have subscriptions to what fletcher and jfk put out along with the atlantic, economist and zmag. how much of these are actually read depends on how nihilistic and depressed i feel like being that month. getting magazines rules though.

i also read whatreallyhappened.org and zmag.org despite fundamentally disagreeing with a lot of what they're about. the former has a shitload of daily stories, while the latter has some writers i love/hate.
i'm hardly an authority on politics, just try to stave off being totally ignorant. i still think i know more than anyone who gets their ideas from political blogs, just give me facts and i think i can interpret them with some competency. if i need help with them, i'll turn to people in my sources versus some bitter blogger.
