Wifi router question: Mine seems to be acting up, and I'm thinking after 9-10years, I might as well replace it instead of waiting for it to die. It is a Linksys wireless g w/ the 2 antennas on the back. I got it at Staples for like $30.

I get good reception in my shop, about 20' away from where the router is in the house, but I'd like to get reception behind my shop/garage which would be another 30-40'.

Would it be as simple as upgrading to a wireless n router, or what? Any info or suggested devices would be appreciated. I'm looking to do this on the cheap, so don't bother hitting me w/ a $200 set up.
