Happy your HDD are living.



I manually mirror mine, i.e., copy things to two drives.

That way if one dies, I have a copy on everything on the other ... and I would quickly duplicate my disk on that drive if it happened.

Since I started doing this I haven't had one hard disk problem.
Thankfully. There are always cheap externals on TigerDirect or even at Costco. This past winter I got $99 3Gb external drives from both sources.
