On the other side .... I was able to figure out how to take my HD out of my laptop easily enough. The issue there is I think I may have encrypted it.

In any case, my usually reliable read-any-harddisk device wouldn't recognize the disk as having data.

I had hope to copy it off and clean it up before I shipped it for repairs.

I found it interesting that my HP laptop has a Toshiba HD.
