No need to be nitpicky. It's isn't that far from the West Village.


The West Village would be down past Broadway. That's a bit of a hike (around 8 blocks) and St. Marks does not extend to the West Village. It's also seperated by about $3000 a month in rent. This is fairly close to allphabet city. The west side is more town houses like on Perry Street.
