Not everyone spends each waking day trying to make the most money they can. Some people like to enjoy life too, and enjoyment & maximum income are often exclusive; it's hard to have fun chasing that last dollar. When is "enough" enough?

This isn't limited to porn. I have a country/weekend place that I maintain under a wildlife tax exemption and I've hired numerous contractors who have deliberately chosen to work in the country rather than a desk. One guy I hired last week to do monthly feeder fills & checks has a masters degree in biology, but he likes quiet, solitude and lack of the detailed daily calendars so he works (in effect) as a ranch-hand.

Gen is the obvious counterexample of a girl who shoots porn because she wants to and not because she couldn't make money long term doing other things. As strange as it may seem, some girls may actually like doing porn and prefer it over the alternatives. That doesn't imply they enjoy all aspects of it, it's just that on the balance being a porn whore is more fun than being an 8-5 corporate drone.

No question porn has more than its share of girls who are only in it for the money and would be hard pressed to hold down a job flipping burgers. But that description doesn't apply to everyone.

PS. It's not immediately obvious to me that the male talent is any better off here.
