People read concise posts not long tomes. Before I quit reading I noticed a problem at the very start:

There is no strong correlation between "star" and "talent" in any field I know of. There certainly isn't in Hollywood so I see no reason to suppose there will be in porn.

There is a weak correlation at the bottom: a bare minimum of talent is necessary to get hired in the first place. Once past this threshold talent seems too have as much to do with "being a star" as boob size, etc. Social skills (i.e. butt kissing) become as important as anything else.

Fields with objective competitive measures of success have a stronger correlation: Lance Armstrong is more likely than Jan Ullrich to become a star because he has more talent (i.e. he wins). Even here this is no guarantee.
