Sure. Hand/eye coordination is the crux of it. They would have the same difficulties against Verlander and Kershaw that they did against Walter Johnson and Cy Young. Size of the stadiums and style of play would vastly change the stats, though.

The top pitchers could play today too, because if you can put the pitch where you want it, you are going to be productive.
