Has anybody else seen this new abc show about a group of plane crash survivors stranded on a tropical island? If so I am wondering if you have any ideas what else is on the island with these people ( the thing in the jungle that is big and mean, that got the pilot).

I saw enough to get what's going on. I will watch more attentively next time. Did they say where the dog came from? I think it might be part of it.

Yeah, I was in and out of the first episode because I was watching Hawaii at the same time. I was thinking that the thing(s) in the jungle were dinosaurs. It has to be something tall and strong- I only saw the dog in the previews for the next ep. I must have missed him. Looks like a cool show and it annoys me that they put it on the same time as hawaii.

The dog was in the first episode but I didn't see how he got there. I suspect he was already there. I will watch more closely this week.

I didn't see where it said one way or another. It just reminded me of a horror movie where a genetically mutated super soldier had a mental connection with a golden lab. The dog turned out to be the one leading the soldier to all the people. This just had the same smell.

I think that movie was called Watchers with michael ironside- I liked that flick

I thought the creature was a dinosaur too but it seems too obvious. How about this:

the dog is a shape-shifter. it's a yellow lab AND a giant snarling beast of unknown origin. I saw an episode of Farscape where a cute little alien turned into a dangerous monster. the crew couldn't figure it out. It was good. real good.

About the foot thing- it depends on my mood and the chick, another difference I have cats but I like dogs
