After months of never getting my permit in NYC because of procrastination, I move to FL without a license.

Once here, the procrastination begins again. I want to be sure I don't fail the written test with FL laws.

Finally I schedule an appointment for my test.

I arrive early and they review my paperwork. They ask if I ever had a license.

Yes. But, it was suspended and expired. It is not longer suspended, but it was expired.

Why was it suspended?

Uninspected vehicle.

Do I have the old license.

Yes.

They examine it and give me a number.
