Tonka aka Cat-Dog 1.5yrs old
I think he's a Garfield clone. The most animated cat I've ever had. This is his reaction to a new toy I got him when it started to wiggle.


Lil Girl 1.5yrs old
She's part meerkat. Always standing on her hind legs or doing something on her hind legs. I can't fool her either.


Traveler aka Bug 7 mo. old(my little carpet bug). He was born with severe Cerebellar Hypoplasia otherwise pretty normal, unable to walk at all but he gets by with flopping side to side. The happiest and most loving, purr-filled kitten I've ever had.


Panther aka Pan-Pan 7 mo. old(Traveler's brother) He was born with mild-CH. He can walk but he high steps his hind legs and sometimes walks drunk and runs into walls when running. He demands cuddle time on my chest every morning AT LEAST.

Traveler does this constantly with his tongue. He also loves kissing sessions since two weeks after he was born. He wiggled his way up to tuck under my chin and kiss galore.



Cerebellar Hypoplasia is when the cerebellum (back-bottom part of the brain that controls balance) is not fully mature by birth. Once born it doesn't continue to mature. In his case it didn't develop much therefore he can't walk. When he's alert or excited he bobbles his head. It's adorable.

Emo died early this morning.

What will you going to do with it? Are you going to call the authorities?

My turtle made an egg about 8 hours ago. Its pretty odd since last time there was another turtle in the same bathtub was more than 15 months ago. I threw the egg away since I have no use for it and don't know how to hatch it [the egg incubator did not worked last time, and all the eggs went bad and dried-up inside].

I put him in the back of my truck, I'll drop him off at the Vet office. The Pines, a pet cemetery, makes rounds a few times a week. I'll have him cremated and scatter the ashes at Shawnee State Forest where there is an unofficial pet graveyard.

Why scatter the ashes? I would rather keep them in a nice vase, like in Meet The Parents.

That's tough to hear Chuck. Especially when you don't get the full amount of time you should with them. My condolences.

Emo was about 10 years old. He had really went down hill with diabetes and Cushing's disease. Probably for the best he passed.

I'm grateful to have had such a great companion for so many travels and hikes. He even had his own backpack. Peed on a lot of trees, that one.

But for now, I will be critterless and free to take motorcycle trips, go on retreats, etc.

This is Panther (tuxedo) and Tonka (ginger). I'm convinced they're gay. So they're now matching each other in honor of marriage equality. LOL

Tonka immediately took Panther under his wing since he was born. They eat together out of the same bowl, sleep and cuddle together, bath each other and even lick each others butthole. I've never seen something so cute and ridiculous at the same time.

I had an outside Tom, Clyde Bailey, I adopted from an ex-cheerleader friend who I was convinced was gay.

He was 20 something pounds, skin and bones, with claws like sabres. Like one of those bodybuilders or pre-night-of-the-long-knives Nazis.

My sister had a runt of a cat. An abused rescue. He was afraid of everything. I had her look after Clyde Bailey once. She was terrified that Clyde would kill her poor cat. I was sure that her cat was his "type".

Her cat took one look at Clyde and collapsed in surrender. Clyde sniffed him. Two minutes later her cat was dancing around showing Clyde his hiding spots. An hour later it was mutual cat bath.

My sister was somewhere between offended and unending laughter. She made me promise not to tell Anyone.

When I meet this Anyone, I'll be sure not to tell him.

Thanks Jen and Frank. Those aren't the most flattering pictures of her. I have a few pictures of her looking cute as a button on page 10. Her name is actually Collette, but we call her Fatass or Fatty Catty or Fatass Cat-ass take your pick. We were doing the "boom-baba-boom-baba-boom" everytime she walked in the room, but she would always stop and stare at us, and even though we knew she had no clue we were ridiculing her, we still felt bad and stopped doing it.

i like the name fatty catty.i was dissapointed a couple times this week.my mom and aunt had brought home two terrier poodle mixes(one young male;possibly the dad if not brother to the lil teddy bear looking female puppy who they said was probably 3 months old).we got to keep them for about 4 days and went to the lake where they were found.bar owner told us they belonged to a family not 50 feet in the trailer park,but we needed to take them to the shelter.

the family called and said they wouldnt claim them.then the kicker;just yesterday we found out we wouldnt be picking them up because the family claimed them at the last second.needless to say it made me a bit sad,as well as my mom.we got really close to lillie and woodie and so did cage and nina.

i went with my mom to go look at potential new pets for the poodle pals and us but the ones we saw online had reserves and one was actually a boy(name was romy and it didnt say the sex,so i assumed it was a girl,till we saw his lil buddie).we went to another shelter and saw two dogs but the one i wanted my mom didnt really want because she really wanted lillie.the other dog seemed like he would probably fight with cage too.i was thinking maybe we should be asked to be put on a list for any new poodle puppies that come in.

It's easy to get attached pretty fast.

A week ago we built a walker for Traveler. He's the happiest thing ever to be able to get around rather than flopping side-to-side. A few hours a day for a week and it seems as though he's gaining strength in his hind legs. He'll never be able to walk but at least now he can get around this way.

Materials used:

1/2in x 10ft 600 PSI schedule 40 PVC, 4 elbows, 4 castor wheels and 1/2in inserts. Gorilla glue to adhere the inserts in the PVC. Then the primer and glue for the PVC. A cheap towel you can get from a dollar store. Probably altogether no more than $20.

We spent an extra $8 for a harness to help stabilize him more because he's a more severe case of cerebellar hypoplasia; which affects his ability to balance more than most cases.
