I don't use a fryer in my place, but my guess is no. That shit is just one big cube of lard, and I doubt you have a fryer big enough.

I think they sell the liquid fryer oil in huge three gallon bottles though.

Dude I don't know ANYONE other than some bakeries that have used cube shortening in the last 20 years. The big liquid shortening containers are 35#ers.

There's a Reisman's bakery nearby [on the poop road] which makes my favorite chocolate rolls that grandma gets from the synagogue. I was passing by recently and they received several pallets of cubed shortening.
