A lot of the hate seems to stem from the over-sexualization of a little girl's cartoon. Bronies will adamantly defend that this is not the case and that all the love comes from the companionship themes, the amazing animation, and the subtle mature humor of the show. But get a group of bronies chatting and the conversation will almost always turn sexual. You can only discuss your "favorite pony" **cringe** so goddamn much before the conversation inevitably turns to "which pony would you like to fuck".
