I had a front row seat to a few of the girls/name changes mentioned.

The Anissa Kate thing happened when she was first being promoted by the peeps at Harmony Films. They were trying to cash in on her likeness to Kim Kardashian. So much so that they wanted to call her Kym Kardashian. For legal reasons they changed to Kym K. They eventually re-thought the promotion and
stuck with Anissa.

As for Raven– I met her as Alexis Bay. She, like many newbies, pick their name on a whim and really don't consider if someone else has the name or how common the name is. When things started to take off for her, she realized that their were a million girls named Alexis in the biz so she wanted to change it.

She has the dark hair and wings in her back so she want with Raven.

Kaylee/ AJ I am not sure about. I will get back to you on that one.

Here is AJ's (ex-Kaylee) response to why she changed her name.
It sort of goes along with what I said about porn stars rethinking their names once they start to make a "name" for themselves.


I changed my name because there's too many Kaylees and Evans in the business and everyone tells me I look like Christina Applegate- so I stand out in peoples' minds more when I tell them my name. It was the perfect time to change it too because I recently did a bunch of DVDs in LA.

She and Raven are too new to have had DVD's released but they've shot for the web companies. The web stuff has a much shorter turnaround time since there's no disc to press or case insert to have printed, in addition to distribution. I think the quickest I've seen a date of production on a film to the time the dvd was released was two months.

btw- Raven and AJ shot a g/g layout and video scene for Velvet Magazine. It drops late sept.

Raven Bay had 9 web scenes and 2 DVD's.

AJ Applegate (the former Kaylee Evans) had 17 web scenes and 7 DVD's. Included were at least 8 anal scenes, one visit with Mike Adriano (and at least one more he directed but did not perform in), and a Kink scene which may have involved her being anally fisted.

AJ is the clear winner, and Raven has been kind of a disappointment. I figured it would be the other way around.
