McD sweet tea is surprisingly good. Chick-fil-a sweet tea is meh, and I haven't had anything else even worth mentioning.

I grew up on sun tea, mid sweet. I learned to make it as a teen from my friend's mom. My family didn't drink it so I had to make it myself. I didn't like most restaurants' sweet tea in Atlanta and would always order it half sweet/half unsweet.

I still get visceral desires for tea sometimes. I can ban it from myself for years on end, and then at some point I crack. I remember being in Europe for a four month stretch once and the craving hit me somewhere in Norway. I began ordering a cup of tea and a glass of ice. I would steep a cup and pour it into a glass of ice with a spoon in it. Waiters in scandanavia are not too cool about bringing Americans a glass of ice cubes. They would bring one or two cubes at a time like the shit was gold.
