I never did like that name. Went to school with a D[ay]na. She got all pretentious later and started calling herself Danna. Harumphhhhh.

The trouble 'Dana' as a name is that it's used by both women and men. Oddly enough, her civilian first name is also unisex. Should have chosen something distinctively feminine, like Rose or Evelyn (hah!)

That's mostly a Catholic thing, though some Anglicans and Eastern Orthodox do it every so often. I think her church is strictly protestant, evangelicalish but not linked to a specific denomination. The friend is her sponsor, it seems. The Luvinlioness is a work in progress in Jesus's ledger.
