The bourgeoisie comment was intended to emphasize that the shooter came from a family in the VERY upper strata of American society. The GOPers like to engage in sociological exercises about makers and takers. The shooter's father may be a "maker" (or may not but that is an entirely different issue), but the son is one of worst "takers" to ever slither across this planer, worse than a million food stamp recipients.
You're absolutely right. Because the son was an insane murderer, let's tax the father.
President Obama wants to raise the top marginal rate from 35% to 37%.. The Lanza situation tells me that the very rich can afford to pay a bit more in taxes. Just a bit. Not even as much as they paid in the 90s. Perhaps the next Mama Lanza may have to leave one firearm off her arsenal wish list. Oh, the horror. the horror.
