I kinda thought that's where you were headed, altho I honestly hoped for better.

I'm going to go way out on a limb here, but here goes. Yeah, this guy was a dirtbag and he did a really really horrible thing. Worse than a million food stamp recipients? The amount of damage culturally, to themselves, to their neighborhoods, to their families, to their children, to the children of their children that the average lifelong, generational food stamp recipients is beyond comprehension. But I guess it's like the saying goes: 26 dead is horrible. Millions of destroyed lives is a statistic. Children living in filth, abused, raped, killed slowly over a period of years. Killing each other over turf. Pumping out generation after generation of cold, heartless soulless animals. This Lanza kid was pretty horrible because what he did happened in a matter of minutes, and because what he did is an uncommon thing. Food stamp recipients kill each other, each other's kids, their own kids, themselves in huge numbers every single day, 365 days a year.

Before you caring folks start wetting yourselves, I'm not for a second saying this applies to every food stamp recipient. And I'm not saying for a second this Lanza kid is anything short of a monster. It's hard to totally flesh out without seeming like a monster. But at some point we need some perspective.

As an aside, one of the outlying towns had a ruckus with a parent attacking students in school, maybe yesterday. No real details, other than the school didn't call the cops. What the fuck? I'll post a link tomorrow if I can find one.

No matter what you think the GOP says, mentally fucked up knows no politics and there's no amount of money that cures it or makes it go away. Believe me, if I could write a check and it would make me see something other than a piece of shit in the mirror, I'd have done it years ago.
