$12/100 for steel is good. Last I scrapped a car I got $10.50/100. I got a station wagon to scrap now, great deal. Bought it for $400. It got 27mpg and I put about 35K miles on it over 2 years, w/next to no repairs, and I'll get like $250 scrap value out of it, after I pull all the fuses, lights and catalytic converter.
