It could be very nasty. I have some friends whose parents escaped. Doctors and Engineers. They've held weekly vigils drinking strong coffee in one anothers homes and talking of their return to the homeland.

It's a beautiful place in an ideal location. The mob should have done more to squelch Castro when they had the chance. I'm not sure anyone but the Castro family is truly happy with the results.

I'll be one of the first in line to go down there, but what will really interest me is to see what those bastards do when they get their hands on good replacement parts for all those late 40's thru mid 50's Detroit cars they've been nursing all these years.

Edit: And I disagree that the Embargo has been good for Cuba. That could be one of the wealthiest nations in the Caribbean were it not communist. Money would literally flow against the Gulf Stream from the USA there along with tourists and investments. There would be no Las Vegas for Chrissake, had Cuba remained open.
