ive actually slimmed down some recently and i havent worked out since we moved here.of course ive moved a bunch of shit all over the house but i thought with the food ive been eating i mightve put on a few pounds.i guess the shake diet still works.
tatty what book of those is the best to build muscle overall?
also i plan on bringing the bike and my weights up to the gym now that ive decided which room im gonna sleep in.gotta start looking at new benches soon too. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but if you want to bulk up, you need to either hit the gym HARD for months on months, or do it wrestler style and bust out some steroids. In all seriousness, though, like Tatty said, Don't wing it. If you're as overweight as you implied (didn't you say 400 lbs somewhere?) you need to start slow and get you body used to the fact that your going to be using in new ways for quite some time to come. The rule for fat folk is to start by doing 10% of what you want to do. Start with ten minute walks, proper diet, and light weights for the first couple of months. It takes a awhile for a metabolism that's been trained to behave a certain way for years to realize that shit's going to change. Like Gia said, cutting out sugary drinks really goes a long, long way towards a headstart. Make sure you're feeding yourself at regular intervals, so your body doesn't think your starving and stores any fat it gets. Work your way towards a rigid routine. There's no rush. You'll end up injuring yourself if you push it too hard too early on. I made the mistake of hitting the weights entirely waaaay to hard when I decided I was going to start working out. I felt great the next day, but the day after that, DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) set in and I couldn't even extend my arms or walk without being in excruciating pain. It went away after about 24 hours. Now I'm just going slow, working my way towards a healthier body. Rome wasn't built in a day, frankie. Take it slow, and good luck.

Now's a good time to stock up on that kind of stuff. Should things go south gunwise, you can make a tidy profit.
I had my FFL when the Brady Bill passed. On the day of the vote I ordered like 5 AKs and sold them at 100% profit within a week.

which hd video camera should i go with?theres the samsung one(hmx f80bn) that films in 1280 x 720 and comes with memory card, mini tripod, carrying case, lens cleaner, screen protectors, and usb card reader for 160 shipped.
and the other samsung one from costco(h300) for 189 shipped.it can film in full hd 1920x1080.also this one can film for 3 hours straight as opposed to the first one which only lasts a paltry 45 mins.is there some kind of longer battery pack i can buy for that one?now that ive typed it out the costco one seems alot better.

Will a GoPro do the trick? Awesome image quality and you can put them anywhere. Almost every TV show you see uses them. Check out GoPro.com for the Hero stuff. They're in the $300 range.

GoPro's fucking Rule. They put them on the helmets of bikers and boarders and action sequences. They also hide them in rooms and capture 4hrs of HD.

Yes, those ones. Reality shows put dozens of them all over the set and capture all kinds of stuff. ESPN mounts them to ski and skate and bike helmets.

New control board for my dryer. Thing took a shit on me when the power went out during Sandy. With business hosed for 2 months, and Xmas presents to buy, I just ordered it Sunday night. it was an extra $0.30 to ship it Priority instead of Parcel Post, and it arrived here from Ohio today. Not bad w/ New Years in there. Part was $95+shipping ($6.60), much cheaper than Amazon ($115) or other places ($130+). Here is the link to the joint. http://www.bafiltersupply.com/Second time I had to replace the fucking thing. Last time I paid $137. So now I got to remember to unplug my dryer during storms. Nothing worse than line dried jeans and drawers.

At $200.00 plus for repair parts even assuming you do the repairs yourself, you are pushing the limits for a dryer. If you pay someone to do it you are beyond it's value.
My chicks a trooper so I know she'd be game. First time I had a dryer with something like a 100.00 control board, and it went out, I'd just kludge a timer switch in a junction box on top of the "dash". Dryers are stupid appliances- as stupid as a range, and don't need but the most basic circuitry to work. A timer, a thermostat, elements, a motor and a belt. If you want to get fancy, a humistat. There is no reason for a dryer to have a circuit board except to cost you money.

Based on the ease of install (6 screws for the back cover, press 2 plastic tabs to pop the board out out and swap all the plugs) I'd say it was designed to fail and be replaced.
$230 over 7 years is stupid but less than the cost of a new dryer.

I dunno Jerkules, look on Craigslist and you can find a functional dryer for less than 200 bucks all day long.
Washers...Lord don't get me started on these front-loading pieces of shit that smell bad and put out bad smelling clothes. Those can be had even cheaper. My girl insisted on a front-loader when our washer hit 15 yrs old and damn near tore down the laundry room with vibration. We had it two months and out it went, to craigslist we went for a used top loader for 150.00 and we gave the front loader to a niece for nothing.

Washer I got at a scratch and dent store 3-4 years ago. $300 flat, no tax, for a $500+ retail Maytag.
Dryer I paid $350 delivered for like 7 years ago. "Builder's price" from an appliance store a friend worked for at the time. If the power just goes out, it doesn't cause problems. It is when you get the flutter, power surge, then out when it pops the board. Thing will turn on for 15-20 seconds then stop.
Dryer is a Maytag too, not that that means much anymore. Part was a Whirlpool. Most of that shit comes outta the same factory in China. For a thousand bucks retail, I could probably have a laundry chink shipped here in a dryer box.

So now you've paid more than retail for a used dryer. Next time it happens email or pm me the model number and I'll email you a fix. Assuming you can solder. And anyone can solder.

Sold some shit I didn't need on eBay and then used the Paypal credit to buy some shit I did need. I came within $7 of breaking even. It was almost like bartering, felt good.

It's like finding money in a coat you haven't worn since last year. I found some of the older style 20 dollar bills in a coat that I grabbed out of an old suitcase a while back. Everywhere I went, people thought the 20's were fake. They wouldn't even work in the machine at the carwash. Speaking of weird money and carwashes, I got a Zachary Taylor dollar coin mixed in with my quarters when the machine spit out my change the other day. First off, I had no idea Zachary Taylor was ever a President of the United States. Second, the thing looks more like a Chuck. E. Cheese token than it does real money. I had to Google it to make sure it was real.
