@Tatty, just tired of hearing more about American politics we have no say in the Great White North rather than our own problems. Goad's yapping has also become too predictable, liked Red Neck Manifesto but he's becoming boring, reminds me too much of the 80s zine 'culture' everytime he opens his mouth.

I used to be a Canadian citizen with a green card. I recently took my oath of allegiance, and part of the oath is a renunciation of one's previous citizenship. In Uncle Sam's - and my - eyes, I am a US citizen only now. Those comic books were one hell of a sales pitch! I do agree with you on the obsession with the US from other countries - until you live here, some things that look cut and dried, aren't. It can be very frustrating discussing gun control with someone from a commonwealth country -- you don't have to be a gap toothed, bible thumping hillbilly to be on board with the right to bear arms.

Yeah, I couldn't care less about Americans and their guns, isn't my country. Course there is gun smuggling from the States but that's mostly just to arm the biker assholes who are moving pot back the other way.
