Right after hurricane Sandy, a bottle with cologne fell down into the toilet bowl from the cabinet on the wall, and broke. I picked up the main piece of the bottle and for some reason decided to flush the remaining smaller piece, which immediately got stuck in the toilet's trap. I tried plunging the toilet, used the power cord as a toilet snake and flushed many times to no result. The next day I went to grandparent's place to take a dump, and a day later I took an emergency crap and the toilet clogged really badly [I had to flush it many times over an hour]. The next day I bought another plunger from the 99c store, but it was a crappy plunger that had the lip overturn every 4th or so plunge. Then I took another crap and decided to flush a bunch of batches of toilet papers, hoping that they would "hook" the stuck glass piece and drag it out into the sewer pipe, and guess what? It worked like on the 30-something flush. I am glad that I did not had to call super to fix the loo, because he would get mad at me at being lazy for not picking out the smaller glass piece that I flushed.
