The problem with NYC is high rent, much higher than LA. This means problems for broke would be porn stars moving here to start in the business as well as lack of affordable studio space to shoot the one day wonders.

But, maybe the new porn valley can be some not yet gentrified Brooklyn or Bronx neighborhood.

And on the plus side NYC does have lots of strip clubs, strippers, brothels, "escorts" to power the porn industry's revolving door to the wider sex industry.

In the meantime I guess the new, already up and running porn capital of the world is condom free Budapest.
