Let me follow myself up. Almost all of my friends are liberal. I have family members who are liberal. People I love and care about are liberal Democrats. Basically, none of them are gloating over this election. I'm fine with maybe checking myself out on politics for the next 4 years and saying, "OK, you guys deal with all of this shit for a while and tell me how it goes and get back to me. You won."
